EA’s first single-player big-budget Star Wars title since they were given the license, Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, seems to be a big hit. It marked EA’s return to Steam on the PC and it seems to be selling well across all platforms. Despite some complaints with how it tried to meld the Souls formula with Star Wars; people seem to like the game.
Now EA in Los Angeles has posted a job opening for senior software engineer for their Star Wars team. That would be Respawn, who made Jedi: Fallen Order, and the listing specifically says it’s for a third-person action-adventure title.
It really wouldn’t make too much sense for this to be a completely different third-person action-adventure title done by Respawn after they established the characters in Fallen Order. So the most logical thing to assume is this is a posting for the sequel which appears to be in development.
